The Spirit Moves Over Australia

Do not take wine or strong drink... you shall have a son.

We hope the testimony that follows will be to all those who read or hear about it, a great manifestation of God's promises.
My husband and I have been married since 1982 and ever since I was having irregular periods, and required hospitalisation and medication. It was a tortuous experience over the years.

I had seen many doctors and underwent laproscopy and lapratomy. My fallopian tubes were operated upon, shortened and opened up. Yet I did not conceive. Various other forms of treatment were done- but everything failed. I had taken ayurvedic, homeo and naturopathy medicines which were also fruitless.

In 1994, we attended a retreat at Divine Retreat Centre at Muringoor and during the lunch break on Wednesday, some force took my husband, Ralph, back to the English Retreat hall. He was talking to himself saying that he was not going voluntarily but some force was taking him. He was alone in the hall. He opened the Bible and got the passage from the Book of Judges, chapter 13:4 which read, "Now be careful not to drink wine or strong drink, or eat anything unclean" in block letters and it continued, "For you shall conceive and bear a son".

Ralph attended one more retreat with a Hindu friend and just within a few minutes after their arrival for the retreat on Sunday, Fr Augustine Valooran, announced that three women had been cured of bleeding problems. The first name father called out was Rufy. Since there was no Rufy at the retreat centre, it should be his wife who was at home.So thought Ralph.

When he returned after the week's retreat, he found me cured and he decided not to drink for a year. Exactly after a year in August 1996 when I went for the regular check up, I was asked to come a week later to undergo laproscopy. The finding of the laproscopy was that I could not conceive.

We then came to Australia to attend our niece's first Holy Communion on 29th December, 1996. Since I was having inflammation in my stomach, my sister-in-law suggested a pregnancy test which proved positive. A scan showed I was five months pregnant. On May 20th, 1997, I gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Rabekah Antonette Feegrado who is God's gift to us in every sense.

We were privileged to give our testimony at more than three meetings in Australia while Frs Mathew Naickomparambil, Augustine Mundackatt and Sr Teresa were conducting a series of retreats and healing services in the months of October and November 1998.

We never had a house of our own. God has given us a beautiful house also.

We praise and thank our God and Lord Jesus Christ who keeps his promises and who is loving, truly caring and compassionate. Praise you Jesus. thank you Jesus, Alleluia.
