5. The Crucifixion and Death (Friday & Tuesday)
"My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? I have
called desperately for help, and still it does not come. During
the day I call to you, my God, but you do not answer; I call
at night, but get no rest ... Our ancestors put their trust
in you; they trusted you, and you saved them." [Ps.
22,1-4]
Let us welcome Jesus and his teachings, especially when all
seems lost. This is when our purified faith will grow. Let us
invite Mary into our life by imitating her virtues.
(on the large bead, and the others throughout the Rosary,
we recite the Our Father ) Our Father,
who art in heaven,...
(on each of the small beads of the decades of the Rosary,
we recite the Hail Mary ) Hail Mary, full
of grace,..... - (10x)
(at the end of each decade, we recite the Glory be to the
Father) Glory be to the Father,...
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of
hell, lead all souls to heaven, especially those who have most
need of your mercy.
A Short Hymn
Be with us Mary; along the way.,
Guide every step we take,
Lead, us to Jesus; your loving Son.,
Come with us Mary Come.
