4. The Carrying of the Cross (Friday & Tuesday)
"But if you endure suffering even when you have done
right, God will bless you for it. It was to this that God called
you, for Christ himself suffered for you and left you an example,
so that you would follow in his steps." [1Peter.
2,20-21]
Can we ever comprehend this mysterious and liberating maxim
that says: "Who loses, wins, and who wins, loses?"
We can only really live and understand this precept when we
walk in his footsteps.
(on the large bead, and the others throughout the Rosary,
we recite the Our Father ) Our Father,
who art in heaven,...
(on each of the small beads of the decades of the Rosary,
we recite the Hail Mary ) Hail Mary, full
of grace,..... - (10x)
(at the end of each decade, we recite the Glory be to the
Father) Glory be to the Father,...
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of
hell, lead all souls to heaven, especially those who have most
need of your mercy.
A Short Hymn
Be with us Mary, along the way.,
Guide every step we take,
Lead, us to Jesus, your loving Son,
Come with us Mary Come.
